Covid update
Due to covid we have decided not to purchase through the store at the moment. We have drastically reduced our buying for the tine being, thankfully we have tons of storage out back full, but we do have a small list of wanted items below. We are also still accepting donations but please reach out so we can give you alternative drop off locations. Our store space is limited and our #1 priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers, especially the itty bitty ones, so we are doing our best to limit the amount of things that come in and out of our store as much as possible.
Wanted to purchase
Newborn clothing
Preemie clothing
Kids gloves and mitts
Grow clock
White noise machines
We know you are busy so you never need an appointment, just drop off your items and we will call or email once we have assessed.
You will be offered two options: cash ( 30 %) or store credit ( 35 %). You will have 72 hours to pick up the items we don't wish to purchase or you can donate them to our Seconds Program.
Please bring your freshly laundered, wrinkle-free items in a bin, tote or basket, simply laid out flat. Please limit hangers and NO plastic bags or cardboard.
We also ask that clothing be limited to 1 bin maximum per visit in order for us to get you in and out in a timely fashion.
No time to sort? Just want your space back?
We will gladly accept donations of gently used items in bags or boxes. Any items unusable by us will be donated to a local charity. Whether they aren't what we are looking for or damaged, all items will be reused or recycled.
All gently used clothing must be freshly laundered and must be stain-free as well as free of odours such as smoke, mildew, mothballs etc.. Clothing must also be free of any pet hair or lint, and wrinkle-free.
Clothing items should look new and contemporary in style (i.e. generally less than 5 years old). Remember, if you would not buy it the way it looks, then we likely won’t buy it either. Clothing should not be ripped, faded, stained or peeling. Zippers and buttons need to be in working condition, intact, and done up.
We know it’s easy to overlook a stain or small tear at home, so please don’t be offended if we reject an item. (Have you seen how many lights we have?!?) By ensuring the quality of all merchandise, every shopper can be confident of buying clean, high-quality items.
Please keep in mind that infant wear is purchased very selectively (sizes 0 to 18 months) and is preferred in matching sets.
Holiday themes and foreign language clothing/books/toys are highly sought after

What we DO NOT buy:
At Re-Sprout safety is a top priority. We are not able to buy items which do not meet current Canadian Safety Standards (i.e. recalls), or;
Whether the items are out of date or out of season or just not what we are looking for we do our best to keep them out of the landfill.
If we have the space, we will take donations of gently used clothing and accessories. Some may be stored for future seasons, some may be donated to families in need and other items, which are no longer in wearable condition, will be donated to a textiles recycling program.
Please reach out to us to find out if we are currently accepting donations.
